Welcome! These Terms & Conditions outline the rules for booking and attending one-to-one online Swedish lessons with Swedish My Way (“We”, “us”, or “our”). By submitting the New Student Inquiry or booking a lesson, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. One-to-one lessons
We provide private Swedish language lessons online via video call (Google Meet). Lessons are personalized based on the student’s level, goals, and schedule.
2. Booking lessons
Lessons may be booked once we have reviewed the student’s New Student Inquiry form. After the form is processed, the student will receive an email containing the teacher’s availability calendar, the link to schedule lessons through Calendly, and the payment details.
Students may book lessons and make payments separately; however, payment must be completed before the scheduled lesson takes place. Upon booking, the student will receive an email containing the link to access the online classroom.
3. Payments
Payment is made via bank transfer. Single lessons or packages must be paid in advance before the first session. The student is responsible for ensuring that payment is received in full by the school, without bank charges having to be paid by the school.
4. Cancellations & rescheduling
The student can reschedule or cancel a lesson at least 12 hours in advance without charge. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the lesson are charged in full. If we ever need to reschedule, we’ll give the student as much notice as possible and offer an alternative time.5. No-shows
If the student doesn’t show up for a confirmed lesson without notice, that lesson is considered completed and cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
6. Technical issues
It’s the student’s responsibility to have a stable internet connection and working equipment. If technical issues on our end prevent the lesson, we’ll reschedule at no cost. If the issue is on the student’s end, the lesson may be considered completed unless agreed otherwise.
7. Materials & copyright
All lesson materials are for the student’s personal use only and cannot be shared, distributed, or sold without permission.
8. Personal data & privacy
When the student submits the inquiry form, they share personal information such as their name, email, learning goals, country of residence, and native language. We handle this information according to our Privacy Policy and use it only to respond to the student’s inquiry and provide lessons.
9. Updates to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any major changes will be noted here with an updated date.
